New Voodoo Hemi Racing ’70 Plymouth Superbird unveiled

 

If there has ever been a Superbird with the right to carry that name with pride, then it is the Voodoo Hemi Racing 1970 Plymouth Superbird that was unveiled Saturday evening in Wateringen, The Netherlands. When the curtain was pulled back and the smoke disappeared, a loud round of applause arose from the audience for Marck Harteveld’s spectacular, 3,000 bhp Pro Modified car for the 2017 MSA British and FIA European Pro Modified Championship. “The whole team did a fantastic job to get the car ready in just a few months’ time, and the outcome is really fantastic,” said a proud Marck Harteveld about the flashy green/purple painted Superbird. A sneak peek at Perkas

We got a sneak peak in PerErik “Perka” Lindgrens workshop in Piteå, the very North of Sweden, and it’s a lot happening here. The white cool Altered he have had for decades is gone, and the dragster he won last year’s Swedish Championship and EDRS series with is also gone. And what more is, he has sold his old Scania truck! So, what´s happening then! Is he quitting racing or has he got totaly nuts?

The Maltese Lion continues to roar

Duncan Micallef impressed with a 3.91-second run in his first race of the 2016 season and even improved on that performance two weeks later at Santa Pod’s European Finals with 3.896 seconds at 312 mph. Thanks to these achievements, Micallef won the title Sportsman of the Year in Malta a few weeks ago, and the Rune Fjeld Motorsport driver stayed on a high by recording 4.03 seconds at 303 mph last weekend at his home track Hal Far Raceway, resetting both Maltese national records. But the Maltese Lion is still not satisfied, as he now plans a full attack on the FIA European Top Fuel title. Continue reading
