Successful event at Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre in Gothenburg
The annual MC Mässan (MC Show) at the Swedish Exhibition and Congress Centre in in Gothenburg attracted some 40 000 visitors in the last weekend of January.

2017 Bilsportsgala in Gothenburg, Sweden awarded our skilled dragracing drivers. Alot of prices was handed out during the big gala dinner, where many in our dragracing family was gathering togheter for a fun and nice evening.
Timo and Dennis Habermann to contest full 2018 FIA European Championship tour
From the Habermann brothers and eurodragster.com comes the news that German two-car Top Methanol Dragster team Werner Habermann Racing will contest all six rounds of the 2018 FIA European Top Methanol Championship. Timo Habermann will defend his 2017 FIA European Championship title, while last year’s runner-up Dennis Habermann will do his very best to beat his brother and get the number one back on his car. Jumping off the bike in 300 km/h
Crashing is something motorcycle drag racers do not talk or think about. But they should do to be prepared for it, as it can happen to anybody. It happened to Kalle Lyrén this season at Tierp Arena, and the multiple EDRS Pro Nordic MC Pro Stock Motorcycle champion knows for sure that he escaped serious injuries not only by wearing the right safety equipment, but also the fact that they talked a lot in the team about ‘what to do when you crash’. Kalle Lyrén looks back at what happened, the moments after the crash and his comeback in August where he ran 7.0 seconds in his first run after the crash, in the same lane where he crashed two months before. Dave Alexander, 30 years in Top Alcohol/Methanol, a good number to retire
Most visitors of Santa Pod Raceway will know Dave Alexander as the co-commentator of the Top Methanol class. But almost 40 years after watching his first drag race and 30 years involvement in Top Alcohol/Methanol, the 2017 European Finals was his last official appearance. 2017 Summit Racing EDRS Series Banquet end one season and starts up the next
2017 Summit Racing EDRS Series has come to and end, and as usual we celebrated our great dragracing people with a great feast. About 400 award winners, teams, familys and friends showed up at Sunlight Spa and Conference Hotel in Nyköping the 25th of November.
Showtime for Nitro Vikings
Now that the racing season is over, it’s time to meet and thank the fans and partners, and meet new ones at shows and exhibitions. Maja Udtian and her Nitro Vikings Top Fuel Drag Racing Team had a busy but also very successful and enjoyable two weeks with the Offshore Technology Days and the Oslo Motor Show.
