Alex and Mark Hope join the 2017 EDRS Pro Nordic MC

The 2017 season is going to be a busy and exciting one for the drag bike addicted Hope brothers, Alex and Mark. Alex Hope was a regular contender in the Super Street Bike class of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship last year, and will step up to the Pro Stock Motorcycle category this season.  The number 7 from last year’s Super Street Bike championship will not only do the EDRS Pro Nordic MC, but the FIM and ACU series as well. His brother Mark will accompany him and race in the Super Street Bike category of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship, ACU and FIM series. Continue reading

Grimes and Bengtsson go for the 2017 EDRS Pro Nordic Championship

Swedish Super Twin Bike rider Per Bengtsson has teamed up with the 16-time NHRA Wally winner Tommy Grimes to ride the famous parallel twin “the Beast” during the 2017 season. Grimes, who made an European debut at the Tierp Arena track in August 2016, despite an unlucky start (DNQ) is very anxious to come back to Europe for some serious racing together with the Beast Dragbike team. EDRS Pro Nordic MC Super Gas Bike champion Janne Koskinen is taking a giant step and will compete in the Pro Stock Motorcycle category of the 2017 EDRS Pro Nordic MC. The 25-year old Finn and his team Sweet Cheek Racing purchased the former Ellsa Karlsson Suzuki, and although new to this competitive class, these youngsters will be a force to be reckoned with.
