Stig Neergaard, Chris Polidano, Bruno Bader and Jimmy Alund provisional leaders at The Main Event at Santa Pod Raceway

Stig Neergaard raced to the number one qualifying position in Top Fuel at the first day of qualifying for The Main Event, the first race of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. In Pro Modified Bruno Bader leads in a new personal best of 5.94 seconds at 234 mph. In Pro Stock Jimmy Alund is the provisional leader and in Top Methanol Dragster 2014 champion Chris Polidano from Malta is the leader after day one. Continue reading

A great event even the rain couldn’t spoil
After the last racingweekend at Frøya Raceway we can congratulate Maja Udtian on her win at her own event Midt-Norsk Dragracing Weekend.
A bit chilly but anyhow warming race weekend at Malmo Raceway
Even though it was a pretty cold weekend at Malmö Raceway the racing was still excellent. 73 teams showed as well as a few FIA teams using the weekend for testing. Among all we found Johan Lindberg testing his new team and the Old 51 before going to Main Event in England.
Frøya Raceway welcome spectators and racers
Teams has already started to arrive to the EDRS drag race event at spectacular island Frøya Norwegian and the staff works hard on the arena.
Adam goes east
Adam Flamholc gave us a teaser recently that he got an offer he couldn’t resist. And now he have given us the release of his plans during this season. And it´s very exciting and unexpected, and in the very opposite direction of his ordinary racing domain.
Father and son Lind future plan – USA racing together
Jr Dragster driver Patrik Lind from Borlange, who came third in the Swedish Drag racing Championship and fifth in the EDRS, is keen to get out on the track again. Dad Micke Lind hashelped Patrik with some off season love and attention to the Junior dragster.
