Vesa Ruhanen stormed to a stunning 6.98 seconds to claim the provisional number one qualifying position in Super Street Bike at the first day of qualifying for the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals, the fourth and final round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship at Tierp Arena in Sweden. In Super Twin Motorcycle Jaska Salakari impressed with a great 6.28 seconds to secure the provisional number one qualifying spot, while in Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyrén ran a great 7.01 seconds to claim the number one position after the first day of qualifying. Liam Jones raced to victory in the Top Fuel final of the NitrOlympX, round four of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at the Rico Anthes Quartermile of the Hockenheimring. It was the first FIA Top Fuel win for the British Rune Fjeld Motorsport driver. In Pro Stock Robin Norén was the surprise winner and for the young driver from Sweden is was also his first victory in an FIA race. In Top Methanol Timo Habermann defeated his brother Dennis in the final to take his third win of the season.
