Great racing between showers at Tallhed
It´s not easy for organizers to create a dragrace event when the weather Gods not co-operating. But Färnäs Night Cruisers manage to do the very best of Midsummer Festival anyway. Friday was on and off when it came to the weather, but two qualifying rounds was done.
Speedgroup and Summit Racing EDRS Series at the streets of Mora
Mora’s inhabitants were given the opportunity to watch drag racing vehicles, and meet the drivers Mats Lust and his team in Pro Street, Björn and Seth Friström in the Super Street Bike and Jr Dragbike last Wednesday, just a few days before the Midsummer Festival at Tallhed Dragway. For Speedgroup, it was a new activity to showcase dragracing sports for the public in this way.

We have just landed after a stunning weekend at Tierp Arena with great racing and sunny wether. Now we heading off to the next Summit Racing EDRS Series event, Tallhed Midsummer Festival next weekend.
Jr Dragbikes at Tierp Arena
Time to get ready for Tierp Internationals and the sign-up list looks very good for Summit Racing EDRS Series. Up on that we can present a new class for Sweden. Jr Drag bike is big in our neighbour countries and is now growing in Sweden as well, and for the first time we can see the class at Tierp Arena.
EDRS Pro Nordic MC kicks off in high gear with Tierp and Alastaro
With two races separated by only one weekend off, the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship kicks off in high gear. The Tierp Internationals at Tierp Arena is once again the first meeting of the season, and after a one weekend break, the EDRS Pro Nordic MC teams will immediately meet again for round number two, the FHRA Nitro Nationals at Alastaro. The championship counts six different categories and will be decided in four races. The Tierp Internationals will be a first indication to see who are the favourites. Kalle Lyrén (Pro Stock Motorcycle), Samu Kemppainen (Super Twin Motorcycle), Thomas Pettersson (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Henri Kolehmainen (Super Street Bike) and Bianca Nilsson (Super Comp Bike) will all defend their 2016 titles, but will meet tough competition. A new champion will be crowned in Super Gas Bike after Janne Koskinen stepped up to Pro Stock Motorcycle this winter. Continue reading
Tierp Arena and Alastaro, next stops for the FIA European Drag Racing Championship
After the rain shortened start of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at Santa Pod Raceway, the teams have a tight schedule ahead of them with the Tierp Internationals and the FHRA Nitro Nationals separated by only one weekend off in which to service their cars. The key players from Santa Pod will also be at Tierp and Alastaro, but will be joined by many new competitors who will start their season in northern Europe. With a great entry in all of the Pro classes, the FIA European Drag Racing Championship accelerates to the next level with the Tierp Internationals and the FHRA Nitro Nationals. Continue reading
