Mid Sweden Nats Finals started in sun
About 120 racers gathered for Sundsvall Raceway last race of the season. Saturday started off in sunshine and good racing.
Motopark 2 Junior winners
The fifth race in in Finland and the 18th in total of the Summit Racing EDRS Series has crowned the winners in Jr Dragster and Jr Drag Bike. A big congratulation to the talent drivers.
Björn Mårtensson
All of us at Speedgroup were shocked and greatly saddened to hear of the sudden death of Swedish Top Fuel driver Björn Mårtensson, who died August 6th after suffering a heart attack.
Björn ‘Nitrobear’ Mårtensson was the driving force behind Nitrobear Racing and took part in several FIA European Top Fuel Championship races over the last few seasons. Less than two weeks ago Björn made some runs at Mantorp Park, to be well prepared for next weekend’s Summit Racing Equipment Internationals at Tierp Arena. We had no idea that these runs were his final runs. Björn will be sorely missed by all of us in European drag racing. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends, and his Nitrobear Racing team members, and we hope they will find the strength to overcome this terrible loss.

A tight and sunny Tallhed Autumn Open 2019
A two days autumn racing weekend at Tallhed Dragway in Orsa closed a great racing season at the track for this season. We can present two new drivers to Summit Racing Super Series shoot-out at Tierp Arena, just a few weeks away. Janne Hallman, Borlänge took the win in Super Pro ET and Mikael Bälter in Pro ET, and are most welcome to an exciting racing. Winners in all classes is as follow.

Winners of a hot Mantorp Drag Revival 2019
Drag Revial at Mantorp Park was a hot and smokey event. Over 200 teams had gather at the historik track that celebrate 50 years in the sport this year. Here is the Winners in the Summit Racing EDRS Series classes that was represented.
Winners of Midnight Sun Festival!
The 12th Summit Racing EDRS Series event is over. Midnight Sun Festival at Pite Draway has been arranged for a number of years and runs that time of year when the sun never goes down.
Nitro Nationals 2019 almost completed but the rain interrupted
Pro Mod driver Peter Kunc took his first win this weekend and was happy to tears to get the cup. “This is not the last one” he said after the prize giving ceremony. Runner Up was Andreas Arthursson.
After a weekend with ups and downs the first Nitro Nationals at the new track at Kauhava is over.
