Reigning EDRS Pro Nordic MC Super Twin Motorcycle champion Samu Kemppainen impressed at the season-opening Tierp Internationals with another great win. In the final the Finn defeated Greger Johansson. As impressive was the Pro Stock Motorcycle win of Kalle Lyrén at Tierp Arena. Rikard Gustafsson and Henri Kolehmainen were the winners in Top Fuel Motorcycle and Super Street Bike at the first round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. Continue reading
Anita Mäkelä wins first-ever all-female FIA Top Fuel final at Tierp Internationals

Anita Mäkelä from Finland raced to victory by defeating Birgitte Bremnes from Norway in the first-ever all-female Top Fuel final in the history of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. Mäkelä was the only driver to record 3.9-second runs in the semi-final and final at the Tierp Internationals. Reigning champion Micke Gullqvist was the winner in Pro Modified while Magnus Petersson defeated Bengt Ljungdahl in the Pro Stock final. Chris Polidano from Malta and Johnny Oksa from Finland were winners in Top Methanol Dragster and Top Methanol Funny Car in the second round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at Tierp Arena, Sweden. The rain stoped finals for EDRS
A wet weekend ended in a sunny Sunday finals in the FIA classes. Unfortunately the rain came back just in time to stop the finals for almost all EDRS classes.

Urs Erbacher raced to the number one qualifying position in Top Fuel at the first day of qualifying for the Tierp Internationals, round two of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. In Pro Modified Mats Eriksson jumped into the number one qualifying position in his second run of the day. With still two qualifying runs to go, Johnny Oksa (Top Methanol Funny Car), Chris Polidano (Top Methanol Dragster) and Jimmy Alund (Pro Stock) are the provisional leaders in their respective categories at Tierp Arena, Sweden. Samu Kemppainen raced to the number one qualifying position in Super Twin Motorcycle at the first day of qualifying for the Tierp Internationals, the season-opening round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. In Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyrén needed his second run to take over the lead, while in Top Fuel Motorcycle Rikard Gustafsson and in Super Street Bike Richard Stubbins are the leaders at Tierp Arena with still two qualifying runs on Saturday to go. Julie did the best round at Thunder Valle, Main Event
Jens Petter Jevnaker have made a sum of Thunder Valle that had their first race of the season last weekend. About 60 drivers, from Norway and Denmark, in different classes signed in to Åraksøyne Air and Motorsport Centre last weekend. The purpose was Thunder Valle, Main event.
EDRS Tierp Internationals 2016 is on
Soon this area will be filled. About 300 teams have signed in to Tierp Arena for the Tierp Internationals next weekend. Expectations are high for the event and it´s going to be a stunning racing weekend for all who will be there.
