An intensive race weekend is over and the Summit Racing EDRS Series 2018 has come to an end for almost all classes in the series. Happy winners of the Drag Finals was awarded after a tigh, fast and eventful but sometimes a bit to cold event.

All right! It’s time to get ready for the 2018 Summit Racing EDRS Series Drag Finals at Gardermoen Raceway. This weekend is where this year’s class winners will be decided.
Mats Stefansson took the Top Doorslammer win at Malmö Raceway last weekend
This weekend, Malmö Raceway held the second last event of the season, Winter Nats 2018, in the Summit Racing EDRS series Top Doorslammer class, before the finals sailing in a couple of weeks. And Mats Stefansson was the winner of the event.
Santa Pod Raceway ready for FIA European Championship grand finale
Barely recovered from the record setting fifth round of the title race in Sweden, the 2018 FIA European Drag Racing Championship goes down to the wire with the European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway. In three categories at least two drivers can still claim the title, so the sixth and final race of the season is one to look forward to. In Top Fuel Anita Mäkelä extended her lead over Antti Horto with a win at Tierp Arena. In Pro Stock Bengt Ljungdahl is the leader, but Stefan Ernryd is in striking distance. Jimmy Ålund is the 2018 FIA European Pro Modified champion after the Swede ousted Michael Gullqvist from the first position with a runner-up finish at Tierp and the 2017 champion decided to withdraw his entry from the Euro Finals. In Top Methanol Timo and Dennis Habermann are separated by only 15 points and so the title race might be decided in the final run of the year. Continue reading

Excitement continues – Kauhava next up
Just one week after spectacular Tierp European Championship the 22nd event in the Summit Racing EDRS Series and tour #5 in Finnish Championship final round is up. And many of those hard competitors who succeeded in Sweden are on site to chase national championship and try to repeat those amazing times at their home track.
