Susanne Callin, Sandro Bellio, Jere Rantaniemi and Robin Norén clinch the FIA European Drag Racing Championship titles in European Finals thriller

Susanne Callin (Top Fuel), Sandro Bellio (Top Methanol), Jere Rantaniemi (Pro Modified) and Robin Norén (Pro Stock) claimed the 2025 FIA European Drag Racing Championship titles in their respective categories at the European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway, the fourth and final round of the title race. It was a real ‘the winner takes it all’ day as in three of the four categories the winner of the final also claimed the European title. In Pro Modified the championship fight was decided in the quarter finals when championship leader Marck Harteveld lost his race and Rantaniemi advanced to the next round.

Susanne Callin (Top Fuel), Jonny Lagg (Top Methanol), Andres Arnover (Pro Modified) and Jimmy Ålund (Pro Stock) claimed the number one qualifying positions at the European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway in England and will lead their respective categories into Sunday’s eliminations at the fourth and final round of the 2025 FIA European Drag Racing Championship. Callin and Lagg both impressed as they had problems on their first three qualifying runs to storm to the top of the ranking on their fourth and final run.

Jndia Erbacher is the provisional number one qualifier in Top Fuel with a great 3.892-second ET after the first day of qualifying for the European Finals, the fourth and final round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at Santa Pod Raceway in England. In Top Methanol Tony Bryntesson is in the lead after day one with a great 5.30 seconds, while Andres Arnover recorded an excellent 5.80 seconds to take the lead in Pro Modified. In Pro Stock Jimmy Ålund once again claimed the provisional number one qualifying position with a great 6.54-second ET.

Jndia Erbacher raced to victory in the Top Fuel final of the NitrOlympX, round three of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at the Rico Anthes Quartermile of the HockenheimRIng by defeating Liam Jones. In Pro Modified Marck Harteveld claimed the win in a dramatic final over Jere Rantaniemi. In the Top Methanol final Silvio Strauch gave the home crowd plenty to cheer for by claiming his first ever Top Methanol win by defeating Sandro Bellio. In Pro Stock Jimmy Ålund got his revenge over the lost final at Tierp by defeating Robin Norén.

It was a great second day of qualifying for the NitrOlympX at the Rico Anthes Quartermile of the HockenheimRing, round three of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. Friday leaders Jndia Erbacher (Top Fuel) and Jimmy Ålund (Pro Stock) remained in the number one position, but in Top Methanol Jonny Lagg took over the number one spot, while in Pro Modified David Vegter was a dominant force and claimed the number one position.

Jndia Erbacher raced to the provisional number one qualifying position in Top Fuel at the first day of qualifying for the NitrOlympX, the third round of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at the Rico Anthes Quartermile of the HockenheimRing, Germany. In Top Methanol Tony Bryntesson is the leader after two runs, while Mats Eriksson is the leader in Pro Modified. In Pro Stock it is once again Jimmy Ålund in the number one qualifying spot.

Susanne Callin raced to victory by defeating Liam Jones in the Top Fuel final for the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals at Tierp Arena, round two of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship. In Top Methanol Tina Høst Nedregård won the final over Tony Bryntesson, while Jere Rantaniemi and Robin Norén defeated Marck Harteveld and Jimmy Ålund respectively in the finals to claim the wins in Pro Modified and Pro Stock.

As expected there were many improvements on the second day of qualifying for the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals at Tierp Arena. As a result in Top Fuel Susanne Callin took over the number one qualifying position and in Top Methanol Tony Bryntesson was the new leader at the end of day two. In Pro Modified and Pro Stock there were also many improvements, but Friday leaders Jere Rantaniemi and Jimmy Ålund remained in the number one position. These four drivers will lead their respective categories into Sunday’s eliminations of round two of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship.

Liam Jones claimed the provisional number one qualifying position in Top Fuel at the first day of qualifying for the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals, round two of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at Tierp Arena, Sweden. In Top Methanol Jonny Lagg stormed to a great 5.27 seconds and is the provisional leader, while in Pro Modified and Pro Stock Jere Rantaniemi and Jimmy Ålund recorded the quickest run and claimed the provisional number one qualifying position.
Continue readingRain brings early end to The Main Event at Santa Pod Raceway

Rain brought an early end to the eliminations of The Main Event, round one of the 2025 FIA European Drag Racing Championship at Santa Pod Raceway. Top Methanol had completed their semi-finals and Pro Stock and Top Fuel were in the staging lanes for their semi-finals and final respectively, when it started to rain. After two hours waiting, it was still drizzling and with the forecast of rain in the next hour, the race director was left no other choice than to cancel the event. At that moment Pro Modified had completed two elimination rounds.
