Santa Pod Raceway welcomes the FIA European Championship grand finale
The FIA European Drag Racing Championship reaches its climax with the European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway, the traditional grand finale of the season. In three categories the championship still has to be decided and especially in Pro Modified, where the numbers one and two, Michael Gullqvist and Jan Ericsson, are separated by only four points, the title fight may last until the final run of the season. In Top Fuel Anita Mäkelä is the favourite to retain her title, while in Top Methanol Sandro Bellio might become the first Belgian driver to win an FIA European title in drag racing. In Pro Stock Jimmy Ålund claimed the title in the penultimate race of the season at Tierp Arena, but in this category the fight for the second position is still open. All in all great prospects for a spectacular grand finale. Continue reading
Drag Finals 2019 EDRS & Norwegian Championship
It’s high time for the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Internationals!
Next up on the schedule is the 2019 Summit Racing Equipment Internationals at Tierp Arena, Sweden. A big event, again. Some 350 teams will battle it out for points before it’s time for the finals at Santa Pod in the UK and at Gardermoen Raceway in Norway, both those races coming up in September.

Before the Finals at Gardermoen Raceway in september, there is a couple of more chances for a few classes to chase points in the Summit Racing EDRS Series.
The EDRS Pro Nordic MC is ready for the grand finale at Tierp Arena
The Summit Racing Equipment Internationals is the fourth round and grand finale of the 2019 EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. Two months after the kick off, the EDRS Pro Nordic MC is back at Tierp Arena. Thomas Pettersson (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Marcus Christiansen (Super Twin Motorcycle), Vesa Ruhanen (Super Street Bike) and Fredrik Fredlund (Pro Stock Motorcycle) enter the final round as the leader in their respective categories. But one thing is for sure, not all four riders will claim the title, while all title contenders will have a tough fight for the final and decisive points. Peter Östlund and Heikki-Juhani Koskinen are the leaders in EDRS Pro Nordic MC Super Comp Bike and Super Gas Bike, and also in these two categories the last race of the season can make the difference between glory and disappointment.
