Tina Høst Nedregård back in the FIA European Championship

After an impressive debut at Tierp Arena in August 2023, there was a long period of silence around Tina Høst Nedregård. But this season the Norwegian Swede will be back in the FIA European Top Methanol Championship.

To say that Tina Høst Nedregård impressed at her championship debut in 2023 is an understatement. The Norwegian took over the driving duties from her partner Daniel Jedborn in the Jedborn Motorsport A-Fuel Dragster in August 2023. She finalized her licensing procedure at Gardermoen Raceway and immediately claimed the number one qualifying position less than a week later at the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals at Tierp Arena with a stunning 5.265 seconds on what was her second official qualifying run. A 5.30-second run in the first round of eliminations in the Daniel Jedborn tuned A-Fueler proved that it was no coincidence.

But so far, that was the only outing of Høst Nedregård. There was no news or racing action from the very north of Sweden. Until last week, when the Jedborn Motorsport driver announced that the team would be back in action in the 2025 FIA European Top Methanol Championship.

“After a year off, it’s time to get back at it. With my move over to Sweden from Norway and starting to work as a mechanic at Daniels company, we didn’t have the time and resources to go racing. But now I am a Norwegian Swede, and me and Daniel have worked hard for a long period of time now to be able to come out to the track again. We really miss our racing family and can’t wait to see everyone again. And I am really excited to continue my journey to develop my driving skills as the rookie I still am. If anybody would have told me a couple of years ago that I was going to be able to drive a nitro car at Santa Pod Raceway, I would probably not have believed them. This is really big for me. And our entire team is still with us and ready to burn some nitro. We have Skellefteå Maskinteknik, Greasemonkey Autoparts, Guldstadens Frakt, C-Tek, Motormekano, NGK and more as are partners. I aim to make them proud, and thankful for their support and believe in Jedborn Motorsport,” said Høst Nedregård, who can’t wait to jump back into the car. And looking at the numbers she recorded at Tierp Arena in 2023, Høst Nedregård will be a force to be reckoned with in the 2025 FIA European Top Methanol Championship.
