FIM-E Champions Review – Rikard Gustafsson – FIM-E Top Fuel Bike

It was quite a year for Rikard Gustafsson and the RG Engineering Puma team, starting with the pre-season unveiling of a new look for the Falkenberg-based flying machine thanks to Indian Motorcycles coming on board as a major backer. On track, the FIM-E championship chase was more of a challenge as Gustafsson would miss the round in Germany as a result of an unfortunate calendar clash with the popular Mosten Raceday in Denmark. However, the Swede delivered a weekend spectacular performance at the Euro Finals in September to pick up the 2025 title with a bit to spare.

Marck Harteveld winner at NitrOlympX and runner-up in the FIA ​​European Championship

Marck Harteveld claimed the win at the renowned NitrOlympX at the Rico Anthes Quartermile of the HockenheimRing. With his victory in the third round of the FIA ​​European Drag Racing Championship, the Voodoo Hemi Racing driver took over the number one spot in the Pro Modified championship standings from reigning champion Jere Rantaniemi. One week later, the Finn claimed his second consecutive title at the European Finals at Santa Pod Raceway, but with a quarterfinal finish, Harteveld secured the second position in the final FIA European Pro Modified Championship standings, his best finish so far. “Of course, you’re a bit disappointed when you’re so close to the title, but we at Voodoo Hemi Racing can look back on a great season,” said Harteveld.

The Beast is hungry for more

The unique blown parallel twin of Per Bengtsson has been barking at Super Twin fields for years but The Beast really starting to bear its fangs in 2025. The recent Summit Racing Equipment Internationals in Sweden delivered a lot of positive results for the team at their home race, with tweaks to the exhaust system, experimentation with a long injector scoop and a lot of appreciative FlexoArt/Bentec employees visiting their pit area over the course of the weekend.
