Theodor Vik with new bike at Gardermoen
Thursday qualifying at Gardermoen Raceway was the first to see the maiden run of Theodor Vik on his new motorcycle. The only 16-year old rider from Norway debuted the ex Kalle Lyrén Pro Stock Motorcycle and did that in style with a stunning 60-foot time to start with.

Monday 17th of July is the last day for making your entry to the Drag Challenge at Gardermoen Raceway at normal cost. NDRG Gardermoen are awaiting more teams, where are you? So far there are drivers and riders from no fewer than 11 countries to participate, but there is always room for more. The absolute last chance to enter the Drag Challenge is 23th of July, but then you will have to pay an extra fee. So enter before July 17th and save some money. Gardermoen Raceway is looking forward to see you all!

Round two in the FIA European Drag Racing Championship at Tierp Arena will be broadcast live from the Swedish Automobile Sport Federation web page svenskbilsporttv.se for only SEK 99/month (roughly €10)
The broadcast from Tierp International’s start Saturday and Sunday 08:50 local time
With a Svensk Bilsport-subscription you get access to all broadcasts all year round for only SEK 99/month (roughly €10). The sum is deducted monthly for as long as you want to watch. The binding period is one month at a time.
Refreshed Brothers on their way to Sweden
Following on from an encouraging opening round at the Main Event at Santa Pod, where the Hungaro-Dutch trio of Daniel Lencsés (event runner-up), Krisztian Jasz (PB at a 7.13 in pre-event testing) and Margot Schmidt (PB 7.25@203) all came away with positives. Catching up with Schmidt after the event “We are very happy and proud of our results over the Main Event weekend, there’s much more to come!

Two new safety devices are to be introduced to the FIA European Drag Racing Championship from the beginning of the series’ 2023 season. The FIA will provide an Impact Data Recorder to every FIA EDRC competitor taking part this year. Launched in 2021, the FIA IDR is a lightweight low-cost electronic impact data recorder developed in collaboration with AiM Technologies.
