All of us at Speedgroup were shocked and greatly saddened to hear of the death of Swedish Super Street Bike rider Leif Larsson who was killed in an accident on his way back home from last weekend’s Scandinavian Internationals. Leif raced in Super Street Bike and also worked with the Karlsson’s Pro Stock Motorcycle operation, driving their truck to races.
Drag Challenge Grand Opening at Gardermoen plagued by rain
‘It’s raining again’ from Supertramp would have been more suitable for the Drag Challenge Grand Opening then AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck’ that came from the Gardermoen Raceway sound system almost every four hours. Ida Johansson follows in the SSB footsteps of her father
Ida Johansson loves motorcycles, and she can’t help it – it must have been genetically determined. The Swedish student from Hofors got her first bike when she was only 3 years old, joined the Junior Drag Bikes when she was 14, and took over her dad’s ride in Super Gas Bike at the age of 16. Now, at 19 years old, it’s time for the next step, as Ida Johansson will follow in the footsteps of her father Niclas by taking over his Super Street Bike and make her entrance in the ‘no slick no wheelie bar’ class for the brave.
