New record possibly at Gardermoen this weekend!

Linn Engan Fløysvik from Ålgård Norway will try to set a new track record at Gardermoen this weekend. With good grip, she and the car can cover 0 to 420 km per hour in just over 5 seconds.

Linn compeet in the class “top methanol funny car”. This is one of the fastest and rawest classes in drag racing. Together with her team of 6 mechanics, she will try to claim the European Championship in drag racing in 2022. She is the only woman in this class in Europe. The car has a supercharged V8 engine with 4000 horses. And no, she does not drive to the store with this as it uses 1 liter per second.
Over 120 cars and motorcycles are registered in different classes. The event starts every morning at 09.30 and lasts until about 18.00 prepending on weather conditions and what is happening at the track. NDRG and Gardermoen wish you all very welcome to a fast and nice weekend.
