The contrast couldn’t have been any bigger. After the cold and rain at the opening round at Tierp Arena, there were almost tropical conditions at the second round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship at Alastaro. In bright sunshine the Finnish fans enjoyed a full programme of four qualifying runs, full eliminations and the traditional Finnish prize giving ceremony with the winners going head first into a water barrel. Samu Kemppainen, Robert Karlsson and Dag Wagenius took this tradition for granted, as the race winners now also lead the championship in their respective categories.   Continue reading →

With Samu Kemppainen from Finland winner in Super Twin Motorcycle, Robert Karlsson from Sweden winner in Pro Stock Motorcycle and Dag Wagenius and Sverre Dahl from Norway as winners in Super Street Bike and Top Fuel Motorcycle, four winners from three different countries at the FHRA Nitro Nationals at Alastaro.
