Racing and the crayfish at Linde Open
The 33rd Linde Open started very well on Saturday with stunning 6 qualifying rounds. Something every one was satisfied with. The evening continued with the traditional crayfish dinner in the Jr pit. All junior teams get together here and brings the tables in a long row and fill them with crayfish and all other nice stuff there is to eat.

Tierp Arena takes on SM finals for Comp and Stock Super Stock

After SHRA Sundsvall a few days back announced the cancellation of the event at Sundsvall Raceway August 19-21st,
the Swedish Auto Sports Federation SBF had to make the decision on how to proceed. The Swedish Championship (SM) finals for the car classes Stock Super Stock and Competition Eliminator was due to be run at Sundsvall Raceway. The decision taken was to find an alternative host if possible. It has now been confirmed by SBF that Tierp Arena takes on the two SM finals during the event August 25-28th.
Tierp Arena had since before been assigned by SBF to host the finals for the other two classes which have championship status in Sweden; Junior Dragster and Pro Modified. Although most drivers were already entered for the event at Tierp Arena, the opportunity for anyone not entered is still open until Sunday August 14th according to Kjell Pettersson, one of the race directors in the organising club, NDRS Motor Club. Since the event already have close to 360 drivers entered in total, the organisers plan to close for further entries after that.
