Hopes spring a surprise return at the Euros

Raising an eyebrow or two on the FIM-E Euro Finals entry list is the reappearance of Alex Hope in Pro Stock Bike after a few seasons away. With father Chris overseeing the refresh of his old stocker that Alex last steered in the late 2010s, followed by a couple of years in Super Street Bike action, the V&H 2 valve Suzuki could shake things up for those in this year’s points chase.

Speaking to Alex “We’re coming out at the Euros just to have some fun on Dad’s PSB that we last ran back in 2017. It was a last minute decision after a few beers that I think Dad now feels we shouldn’t have made! Been a lot of head scratching putting it back together as it’s like a jigsaw that we haven’t done for many years. Dad, as always, has done 99% of the assembly as well as the motor prep.”

A mistake or not, it will be great to see the Hope family, long-time stalwarts on the European tour, back in action for however long this time.
