Speedy’s welcome back Torxster and aim quick

Runaway FIM-E Super Twin points leader Marcus Christiansen and father Claus welcome back Torxster.de as their main sponsor for next weekend’s NitrOlympX at Hockenheim, with Torxster showing off some of their own custom bikes in Speedy’s Racing pit area.

Speaking ahead of the event, Marcus mentioned “it seems like we have solved our clutch issue in Tierp and now have 3 equal clutches that we can use. Hopefully we will get the stability and be able to tune in the bike for the 6.1s again. After Hockenheim, we go home to the Mosten MC Raceday eighth mile sprint event on home soil, to defend our title as Super Twin winner. If point standings are good [and there is every indication that they should be] when we get to the Euro Finals at Santa Pod in September we will make a safe qualifying run and then give it everything from there to see if we can beat some records. Hopefully the 6.0 will come and if track conditions are perfect then maybe, just maybe, a 5.9 is possible.”

Bearing in mind the Danish team have barely missed a beat in 2023 and remain undefeated in the three events to this point, we’re not too sure the opposition will be happy to hear they have solved earlier problems, but it feels like Marcus and Speedy are a lock in for a fourth championship in a row.
