No 2020 EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship

It will not come as a big surprise as (almost) all rounds of the championship had to be cancelled so far, but due to the COVID-19 crises and its consequences it is now official that there will be no 2020 edition of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship.

The original, five-round, calendar was due to start at Tierp Arena in June, than moving on to Kauhava, Finland, before coming back to Sweden for Sundsvall Raceway’s inaugural EDRS Pro Nordic MC event. Due to the COVID-19 crisis the first three rounds of the championship had to be cancelled, immediately followed by the cancellation of round number four at Gardermoen Raceway, Norway, and a few weeks later the final round at Tierp Arena. Following all these cancellations, it was loud and clear that it would be impossible to run a 2020 edition of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship and that has now been made official by a statement from Speedgroup, organizer of the championship.

The EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship will be back in 2021. In the meantime, take a look at the website dragracingeurope.eu and Facebook EDRS Pro Nordic MC for races, test and tune options at several tacks, and photo reports from the last couple of years.
