There were no changes in the number one qualifying positions on the second day of qualifying for the FHRA Nitro Nationals at Kauhava, thus the leaders after the first two runs on Friday, Rikard Gustafsson (Top Fuel Motorcycle), Marcus Christiansen (Super Twin Motorcycle), Fredrik Fredlund (Pro Stock Motorcycle) and Vesa Ruhanen (Super Street Bike), will lead their respective categories into Sunday’s eliminations at the second round of the 2019 EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. Rikard Gustafsson, Marcus Christiansen, Fredrik Fredlund and Vesa Ruhanen leaders after Friday qualifying at Kauhava

Rikard Gustafsson stormed to a stunning 5.83 seconds to claim the number one qualifying position in Top Fuel Motorcycle at the first day of qualifying for the FHRA Nitro Nationals, the second round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship at the brand new drag racing facility in Kauhava, Finland. In Super Twin Motorcycle Marcus Christiansen claimed the provisional number one qualifying position with a great 6.42 seconds. Pro Stock Motorcycle and Super Street Bike both have a Finnish number one qualifier so far. In Pro Stock Motorcycle it is Fredrik Fredlund with 7.09 seconds and in Super Street Bike Vesa Ruhanen with 7.08 seconds. Continue reading

EDRS Pro Nordic MC heads to Kauhava for the first time

After the season kick off at Tierp Arena, the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship travels to the brand new Kauhava track for round two of the championship. The Tierp Internationals were blessed with excellent racing and new European records in Top Fuel and Pro Stock Motorcycle, a promising prospect for some exciting action at Kauhava. With Filippos Papafilippou, Marcus Christiansen, Vesa Ruhanen, Kalle Lyrén, Rasmus Östlund and Trygve Kaerstad Helgerud as the leaders in their respective categories, the EDRS Pro Nordic MC has riders from five countries in the number one position.
