Fel i stegen för klassen Pro Street i Finland

Under förra helgens tävlingar på Motopark uppstod ett fel när FHRA lade in stegen i tidtagningssystemet, där “all-in qualifying” registrerades för Pro Street-klassen. Detta resulterade i en stege med 16 bilar istället för den normala 8, enligt EDRS riktlinjer (med 9 bilar kvalificerade).

Lars Berglund reste till Finland, vann tävlingen och gick med liten marginal om Angelica Larsson i totalställningen. Vi har övervägt flera alternativ för att lösa denna situation.

Vi anser att båda förarna moraliskt förtjänar segern i serien. Därför har vi beslutat att dela mästerskapstiteln mellan Angelica Larsson och Lars Berglund i Pro Street-klassen för 2025 i Summit Racing Super Series.

Detta kommer att återspeglas i poängtabellen genom att poäng dras av från Lars Berglund för Motopark-evenemanget, vilket gör att hans totalpoäng matchar Angelica Larssons. Åtgärder kommer också att vidtas för att förhindra att detta händer igen, eftersom EDRS verkar i flera länder med olika nationella regler. Vi har samarbetat med de nationella förbunden för att identifiera och hantera alla skillnader, men just denna “bugg” upptäcktes först nu.

Problem with the ladder for the Pro Street class in Finland

During last weekend’s competitions at Motopark, a fault was done when FHRA entered the ladder in the timing system, where all-in qualifying was registered for the Pro Street class. This resulted in a 16-car ladder instead of the standard 8, as stipulated by the EDRS Guidelines (with 9 cars qualifying).

Lars Berglund travelled to Finland, won the event and narrowly overtook Angelica Larsson for first place. We have considered several alternatives to resolve this situation.

We believe both drivers are morally deserving of the series victory. Therefore, we have decided to share the series championship between Angelica Larsson and Lars Berglund in the Pro Street class for 2025 in the Summit Racing Super Series.

This will be reflected in the points table by deducting points from Lars Berglund for the Motopark event, bringing his total in line with Angelica Larsson’s. Measures will also be taken to prevent this from happening again, as EDRS operates across multiple countries with varying national regulations. We have worked with the national associations to identify and address all differences, but this particular “bug” was only discovered now.
