SEMA Nordic Program is starting up in August

On Wednesday, Linda Spenser, Senior Director of International and Government Affairs, made a quick stop in Borlänge for a meeting with companies that will participate in the SEMA Nordic Program. The convention will take place in Stockholm at the end of August, where interesting and rewarding contacts will be made during pleasant conditions.

Good conections was made during the day. A nice and knowledgeable collection of people with many good and important contacts when it comes to building networks showed up. Which is what the SEMA Nordic Program is about. Participants at this pre-meeting in Borlänge were Lars Pettersson and Helene Rapp Swedish Motorsport Association, Lars Lagestam and Åsa Hedlund SSAB, Dan Suenson Aqula Racing Cars, LG Eriksson ME Racing Service, Stefa Verdi Auto Verdi, Linda Spencer SEMA and Lena Perés Speedgroup AB.

-SEMA/PRI wants to make contacts all over the racing world and by bringing over American companies it gives them the chance to get interesting contacts outside the USA, says Linda. 20% of the exhibitors at SEMA are international, which means ties need to be strengthened on the market. This program, as it looks now, started in 2011 and we have been to China, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Canada and even South Africa since then. Now we hope that Scandinavia will be a good platform for recurring meetings as there is so many american cars and manufacturers here. There will be progressive meetings, BBQs, study visits at shops and manufacturses, participating in Stockholm cruising etc in August 24-28th. That is why I am here now to meet you and marketing the event and get more idéas to this 4 days of interactions. We will bring about 40 american suppliers this time.

Linda is not only looking for Nordic companies and dealers for this autumn’s gathering, but also racing teams are warmly welcome. If you want to participate in August, please contact Linda at the email address lindas@sema.org

During the day we was invited for a visit at ME Racing Service AB that was very interesting. LG Eriksson did show their tube storage and their brand new product, Multi-Gig during the walk thru the shop.

We looking forward to this interaction in August.
