Callin and Lagg both impressed as they had problems on their first three qualifying runs to storm to the top of the ranking on their fourth and final run.

The first day of qualifying for the European Finals was already great, the second day, Saturday, was even better. Great weather and track conditions and packed grandstands and numerous improvements compared to day one and as a result many changes in the qualifying order. With in all four categories several drivers running almost identical ETs and also several drivers still in the race for the championship, Sunday’s eliminations will definitely be exciting.

In Top Fuel Jndia Erbacher was the leader after day one.

The reigning European champion lost that position to Liam Jones on run three as he recorded 3.891 seconds, 0,001 of a second quicker than the driver from Switzerland. The Slick Tricks Racing driver had traction problem on her first three runs but stormed to a great 3.87 seconds to claim the number one qualifying position.
