The native of V\u00e4ster\u00e5s, Sweden, has been competing in Pro Modified since 2017 when the team took the decision to spend three years fully focused on winning the FIA European Championship starting with 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>It has been mission accomplished to say the least, as Ericsson has been the winning force not only in FIA competition, with three back-to-back Championships, but also wins in the Nordic series and Santa Pod Raceway\u2019s Doorslammers events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI love drag racing, but the planned three years of focus have come to an end,\u201d said Ericsson. \u201cTime-wise it took five years as covid cancelled two seasons, but the team can no longer combine this level of dedication with our regular jobs and family life.
