In Top Methanol Jonny Lagg is the leader after two runs with 5.49 seconds. David Vegter claimed the provisional number one spot in Pro Modified with a great 5.93 seconds on his first run of the day, while in Pro Stock Jimmy \u00c5lund is the provisional number one qualifier.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>It was extremely hot at the HockenheimRing, with the threat of rain and thunder showers in the afternoon. But the weather was with the racers and the two qualifying runs were completed without any problems, although the ETs were not that good as a result of the high temperatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/zetterstrom.04.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/zetterstrom.04.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15095\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In Top Fuel most runs ended in an \u2018up in smoke\u2019 halftrack. Ida Zetterstr\u00f6m kept her foot down on the second run and recorded 4.28 seconds to claim the lead after day one. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/horto.02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/horto.02.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15100\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Antti Horto is the number two qualifier with 5.42 seconds, while Jndia Erbacher is the number three with 5.55 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/erbacher.02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/erbacher.02.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15097\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Susanne Callin and Dennis Nilsson are the provisional numbers four and five and will have some work to do on the Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/lagg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/lagg.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15090\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In Top Methanol Jonny Lagg recorded 5.49 seconds to claim the number one position, with Linn Fl\u00f8ysvik in second position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/linn.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/linn.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15091\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tony Bryntesson is third, while championship leader Sandro Bellio suffered some problems and is in fourth position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/vegter.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/vegter.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15093\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In Pro Modified David Vegter stormed to the number one qualifying position with a great 5.93 seconds on his first run of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/eriksson.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/eriksson.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15099\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Mats Eriksson, number one qualifier at Tierp, recorded 5.94 seconds and is the number two qualifier, with reigning champion Jan Ericsson third with 6.00 seconds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/ericsson.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/ericsson.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15098\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Michel Tooren recorded 6.02 seconds and is the second driver from the Netherlands and the number four qualifier, while Marcus Perman claimed the number five spot with 6.14 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/alund.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/alund.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15096\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In Pro Stock it was once again Jimmy \u00c5lund who claimed the number one position with &nbsp;6.65 seconds.
