In Top Methanol there is also a female driver the leader after day one, as Linn Engan Fl<\/strong><strong>\u00f8<\/strong><strong>ysvik claimed the provisional number one position. Jan Ericsson stormed to the lead in Pro Modified, while in Pro Stock Jimmy \u00c5lund claimed the provisional number one qualifying position. <\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Because of a long rain break, it was after 8 PM when racing was finished at the once again excellent prepared Tierp Arena track at the first day of qualifying for the Summit Racing Equipment Internationals.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/makela1_srei19q1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16929\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/makela1_srei19q1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/makela1_srei19q1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/makela1_srei19q1-300x208.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In Top Fuel it was once again reigning champion and championship leader Anita M\u00e4kel\u00e4 who stormed to the lead in her first run of the day. Udtian finished qualifying in fourth position (4.09 seconds), with Tethys fifth and Michael K\u00e5gered sixth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/floysvik_srei19q1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16934\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/floysvik_srei19q1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"354\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/floysvik_srei19q1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/floysvik_srei19q1-300x197.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There is also a female driver in the number one qualifying position in Top Methanol. Michael Joneskog is fourth with 6.02 seconds as well and Jere Rantaniemi fifth with 6.03 seconds. Several drivers from the top six in the championship like Andreas Arthursson, David Vegter Jimmy \u00c5lund and Mats Eriksson have some work to do on day two, as they are in 7<sup>th<\/sup>, 17<sup>th<\/sup>, 18<sup>th<\/sup> and 21<sup>st<\/sup> position respectively.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/alund2_srei19q1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-16938\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/alund2_srei19q1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/alund2_srei19q1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/fiaedc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/alund2_srei19q1-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In Pro Stock championship leader Jimmy \u00c5lund is once again the leader after day one.
