Hussain Al Shammari back in FIA Pro Mod with his own Camaro
Kuwait’s Hussain Al Shammari got a taste of the FIA European Pro Modified Championship last year and aims for more this season. “We refreshed the engine and make everything ready for the trip to England. The Maltese Lion continues to roar
Duncan Micallef impressed with a 3.91-second run in his first race of the 2016 season and even improved on that performance two weeks later at Santa Pod’s European Finals with 3.896 seconds at 312 mph. Thanks to these achievements, Micallef won the title Sportsman of the Year in Malta a few weeks ago, and the Rune Fjeld Motorsport driver stayed on a high by recording 4.03 seconds at 303 mph last weekend at his home track Hal Far Raceway, resetting both Maltese national records. But the Maltese Lion is still not satisfied, as he now plans a full attack on the FIA European Top Fuel title. Continue reading
Danny Bellio is back in business
After a one season break and a season he wants to forget as soon as possible, Danny Bellio will be back on track in 2017 and Danny’s Racing Team will compete in almost all rounds of the FIA European Top Methanol Championship. And for those who might have thought the Belgian family finally took some time to relax over the last two years, they don’t really know the Bellios, as besides their already extremely busy garage and shop Danny Cars, they started Dyno Unlimited, a test facility for engines up to 4,000 bhp. A new generation taking over the SFI tour
Third day in SFI Tour was held as usual at Pers Akers Speed Shop in Sweden and SFI team arrived as planned from the boat from Finland and the inspection there. The team threw himself straight in to work.
SFI Foundation re-certification in The Netherlands
The 2017 European SFI re-certification tour kicked off today in Heemskerk, The Netherlands. Racers and team members from at least four different countries travelled to the Dutch Hot Rod Association headquarters in Heemskerk, located less than 30 minutes from Schiphol Airport, to re-certify wheels, bell housings, clutches and flywheel shields, to be race ready for the fast approaching 2017 season.
