Three new persons were voted to be part of the board at the Annual shareholders meeting for Speedgroup Aktiebolag, held in Stockholm on April 23rd.<\/p>\n

The shareholders present in person or represented by proxy decided to reelect<\/p>\n

Pelle Lindel\u00f6w, Sweden
\nKjell Pettersson, Sweden
\nRoger Lyr\u00e9n, Sweden
\nAnders Charley Karling, Sweden<\/p>\n

A majority of shareholders also expressed support for\u00a0Lin Granlund, Norway and\u00a0Emelie Carlsw\u00e4rd, Sweden to be elected as new board members.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Deputy\u00a0board members, the meeting reelected\u00a0Dick Koster, the Netherlands and\u00a0Mikael K\u00e5gered, Sweden.
\nMats Eriksson, Borl\u00e4nge Sweden who was previously a board member, was elected deputy\u00a0board member.<\/p>\n

One new deputy board member was elected; Simo Patoharju from Finland.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The mandate period for the board is approximately one year, the next Annual Shareholders meeting is to be held at the latest in June 2017.<\/p>\n

Six regular board meetings per year are to be held and the chairman, currently Pelle Lindel\u00f6w, is to be decided\u00a0at the first board meeting.<\/p>\n

\u00c5sa Kinnemar is the CEO since January 2016.<\/p>\n

Speedgroup administer the FIA European Drag Racing Championship<\/strong> and operate the EDRS European Drag Racing Series, EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Drag Racing Championship<\/strong> and\u00a0 the Swedish Drag Racing championship for cars, Dragracing SM<\/strong>.
