Fredrik Fredlund<\/p><\/div>\n

With his Friday time of 6.977 seconds Fredrik Fredlund stayed in the number one qualifying position in Pro Stock Motorcycle at Tierp Arena. In the last run of the day Robert Karlsson came close with a stunning 6.98 seconds, but even his first ever 6-second run was not enough to take over the lead. Also no changes in Super Twin Motorcycle and Super Street Bike where Friday leaders Hans Olav Olstad and Richard Stubbins will also lead their respective categories into eliminations for the fourth and final round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Like yesterday, perfect conditions at Tierp Arena at the final qualifying day for the Scandinavian Internationals, the fourth and final round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. In front of the packed grandstands the riders made a great and record setting show of the final qualifying day.<\/p>\n

Highlight of the day was the last qualifying pass in Pro Stock Motorcycle. In a great side-by-side run Robert Karlsson and Fredrik Fredlund crossed the finish line in 6.982 and 6.998 seconds! For Karlsson it was his first ever 6-second pass and good enough to jump into the number two qualifying position.<\/p>\n

Fredlund couldn\u2019t improve on his Friday 6.977 seconds but that impressive run, the quickest ever in Europe, was good enough to keep the number one position! Kalle Lyr\u00e9n improved to 7.04 seconds and enters qualifying in the number three position, with Ellsa Kalrsson in fourth.<\/p>\n

In Super Twin Motorcycle Hans Olav Olstad stayed in the number one position with his Friday 6.531 second. Per Bengtsson stormed into the field with a great 6.544 seconds to claim the second qualifying position. Leader in the championship, Samu Kemppainen, has some traction problems and is \u2018only\u2019 third, with Vidar Ravnsborg in fourth position.<\/p>\n

In Super Street Bike no major changes in the positions, but three of the top four riders improved on their Friday performance. Richard Stubbins improved to 7.15 seconds and is again in a class of his own. Alex Hope couldn\u2019t improve, but is still number two and so again the two British riders will lead the field into tomorrow\u2019s eliminations. Reigning EDRS champion Bj\u00f6rn Fristr\u00f6m improved to 7.41 seconds and is third, with Nils-Ola Andersson (7.54 seconds) in fourth position.<\/p>\n
