In Super Twin Motorcycle Samu Kemppainen was in a class of his own and is the provisional leader. But in the second qualifying session Sverre Dahl powered to a stunning 6.13 seconds, a new personal best and good enough to be the new number one. Leader after the first run was Anders Larsson. But in the second run Robert Karlsson upset the far more experienced Pro Stock riders with a stunning 7.049 seconds, and took the lead. Santa Pod Main Event winner Richard Stubbins is number one qualifier (7.16 seconds) and Alex Hope (7.39) second.
