Sverre Dahl from Norway raced to victory in Top Fuel Motorcycle at the Drag Challenge at Gardermoen Raceway, the second round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. In Super Twin Motorcycle Ismo M\u00e4enp\u00e4\u00e4 recorded great numbers and won the final from the number one qualifying position. In Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyr\u00e9n was in a class of his own and took the win, while in Super Street Bike Kenneth S. Laget claimed the victory after number one qualifier Anders Blanck ran into problems in the final.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

It were four great days of action at Gardermoen Raceway in Norway during the second round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Top Fuel Motorcycle the numbers one and two qualifiers, Sverre Dahl (6.37 seconds) and Jan Sturla Hegre (6,45 seconds) had to face each other in the final. In the all Norwegian final Dahl was not able to match his qualifying numbers, but the 6.63 seconds was enough to defeat Hegre\u2019s 6.77 seconds and take the win. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With one round to go, next weekend\u2019s Summit Racing Equipment Internationals at Tierp Arena, Hegre is still leading the championship with Dahl in second position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Super Twin Motorcycle it was also the number one qualifier who advanced to the final. In great 6.6-second runs Ismo M\u00e4enp\u00e4\u00e4 defeated John Rolfstad and Marko Lantto. In the final M\u00e4enp\u00e4\u00e4 had to face rookie Cato Oddmund Waale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final M\u00e4enp\u00e4\u00e4 improved to a great 6.57 seconds, his best ET of the weekend, to claim the win. The rider from Finland is also leading the championship, with his countryman Marko Lantto in second position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyr\u00e9n was in a class of his own. The former champion claimed the number one qualifying position with a great 7.06 seconds. In the final Lyr\u00e9n had to face Frederik Kirkhoff Schack, who defeated rookie Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Tim Christensen in the semi-final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Schack ran into problems in the final, Lyr\u00e9n stormed to a winning 7.25 seconds. After his win at Tierp in June, the Danish rider is still leading the championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Super Street Bike the numbers one and two qualifiers Anders Blanck and Kenneth S. Laget advanced to the final as well. Blanck defeated Jari Blom, while Laget was too quick for Dag Wagenius. In the final Blanck ran into problems and that opened the door for Laget to take the win. Blanck is still leading the championship, with Blom in second position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next weekend\u2019s Summit Racing Equipment International at Tierp Arena is the third and final round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship. At the end of the Sunday we will know who the new champions are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
