The agreement is the result of discussions between FIM Europe and the DRE management group formed by Keith Bartlett, Michael Gullqvist and Roger Lyr\u00e9n. The intention is to run FIM Europe Drag Bike European Championship in a combined calendar with the FIA European Drag Racing Championship for cars.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to have been appointed as the new promoter for the FIM Europe Drag Bike European Championship. The promoter, Drag Racing Europe, will now be able to initiate the task to further develop the Championship, especially in key commercial areas. \u2013 \u201cThe goal is to create and increase the value and benefits for the teams and track promotors alike\u201d said DRE Chairman Keith Bartlett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DRE-FIM_stm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DRE-FIM_stm.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13602\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The FIM Europe Drag Bike European Championship is the pinnacle of the discipline in Europe. Competition takes place across four classes; Top Fuel Motorcycle, Super Twin Motorcycle, Pro Stock Motorcycle and Super Street Bike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DRE-FIM_psm.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/DRE-FIM_psm.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13600\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Drag Racing Europe AB is a consortium formed from the existing venues of the FIA European Drag Racing Championship, Santa Pod Raceway (TBR), Tierp Arena, Hockenheimring and the Finnish Hot Rod Association (FHRA), together with the FIA EDRC administrator, Speedgroup AB. The FIM Europe is a Continental Union, recognised by FIM (F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de Motocyclisme), that groups 46 National Federations (FMNs) and 6 Regional Motorcycling Associations together.
