In Super Twin Motorcycle reigning champion Marcus Christiansen claimed the number one qualifying position, while in Super Street Bike Mathias Bohlin stormed to a stunning 6.95 seconds to lead his category after two runs. In Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyr\u00e9n is the leader after Friday qualifying.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Warm weather conditions at the first day of qualifying for the Tierp Internationals, round one of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship at the state-of-the-art drag racing facility of Tierp Arena.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/papa_ti19_q1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12343\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/papa_ti19_q1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"347\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/papa_ti19_q1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/papa_ti19_q1-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Rikard Gustafsson stormed to a great 5.90 seconds to claim the number one qualifying position in Top Fuel Motorcycle, with Filippos Papafillippou in second position with 5.93 seconds. These two riders were in a class of their own as Thomas Pettersson recorded 6.57 seconds to claim the number three position.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/grimes_ti19_q1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12347\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/grimes_ti19_q1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/grimes_ti19_q1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/grimes_ti19_q1-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In Super Twin Motorcycle reigning champion Marcus Christiansen only needed one run to take the lead as the Danish rider recorded a great 6.42 seconds in his first run. Former champion Tommy Grimes was the number two qualifier with 6.69 seconds, while Samu Kemppainen was third with 6.74 seconds. No fewer than seven riders recorded a 6-second run on the first day of qualifying.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/bohlin_ti19_q1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12349\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/bohlin_ti19_q1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/bohlin_ti19_q1.jpg 540w, https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrspro\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/06\/bohlin_ti19_q1-300x204.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In Super Street Bike reigning champion Mathias Bohlin stormed to a great 6.95 seconds with Ida Zetterstr\u00f6m in a new personal best of 7.11 seconds in second position.
