{"id":35,"date":"2015-12-09T21:09:53","date_gmt":"2015-12-09T20:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrs\/?page_id=35"},"modified":"2025-04-29T09:02:02","modified_gmt":"2025-04-29T08:02:02","slug":"pro-street","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.dragracingeurope.eu\/edrs\/competition-classes\/pro-street\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Pro Street rules that apply for 2025 (updated 250429)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div class=\"clear\">\n<p>PS \u2010 PRO STREET \u2010 BO 7.60<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class breakout:<\/strong>\u00a04.80 \/ 7.60 seconds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Absolute breakout:<\/strong>\u00a04.70 \/ 7.50 seconds<\/p>\n<p><strong>The class follows the SBF and FHRA Technical Regulations with the following additions:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ladder type:<\/strong>\u00a0Pro, max 16 for elimination.<\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"123\"><strong>Field size<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"187\"><strong>Qualified<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"123\">4 cars<\/td>\n<td width=\"187\">At least 3<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"123\">8 cars<\/td>\n<td width=\"187\">At least 5<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"123\">16 cars<\/td>\n<td width=\"187\">At least 13<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Cars allowed:<\/strong>\u00a0Full-bodied cars with suspension on all four wheels<\/p>\n<p>The driver must not be placed in the center of the car.<\/p>\n<p>Dragsters, Funny Cars or Altereds are not allowed.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The competition Car must have functioning doors for entering and exiting the vehicle<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Slicks allowed.<br \/>\nEngine: Naturally aspirated, Nitrous oxide, supercharging, etc. allowed.<br \/>\nSuper charging according ET regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Noise acc. to ET regulations, <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">down to 7.50 (4.50)<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Exhaust according to SBF DRT 1.3 and FHRA General Technical Regulations 1.3.<\/p>\n<p>Zoomie headers: not allowed.<\/p>\n<p>Final outlet of open exhaust can not exceed 5 inches (127 mm) in diameter.<\/p>\n<p>Removable exhaust collectors must be securely fastened such that they require tools for removal.<sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Cars equipped with 10.5 W tires, \u201075 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Cars that do not use power adders (i.e. Turbo, Supercharger or nitrous oxide), \u201075kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Class \u201cBreak Out\u201d is 4.80 sec on 201 meters and 7.60 sec on 402 meters.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifying run faster than 4.80 sec on 201 meters or 7.60 sec on 402 meters will be deleted.<\/p>\n<p>When driving faster than 4.70 sec on 201 meters and 7.50 sec at 402 meters, driver is excluded from continued competition in the class during the applicable contest, regardless of chassis type.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Car violating its own chassis breakout is disqualified from the competition.<\/li>\n<li>Drivers who drive faster than approved by the driver license are disqualified from the competition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Electronic control like throttle stop, etc.<\/span> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0Throttle-Stop is prohibited in class.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It is not allowed to change driver \/ car during qualifying \/ race.<\/p>\n<p>The car must have the correct weight to count the qualifying \/ elimination round.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Weight rules according to ET regulation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Max added weight 230kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Weight incl. drivers:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Big Block 1150kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">Smallblock 1000kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">6 cyl 900kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">5 cyl 800kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">4 cyl, two-rotor Wankel and front wheel drive, free weight.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Fire extinguishing system is mandatory and must meet SFI Spec 17.1. or FIA Standard, Technical List N\u00b016 Extinguisher systems and Technical List N\u00b006 AFFF extinguishing products. Minimum 5 pound (2.3 kg).
