\nSince February 17th 2017 the series operates as Summit Racing EDRS Series. The (former) EDRS European Drag Racing Series, which is operated by Speedgroup is Europe\u00b4s biggest competition series for drag racing. <\/b><\/strong><\/strong>During\u00a02017, more than 800 teams from 12 countries participated in events run under EDRS flag. The series includes a broad variety of competition classes, both cars and motorcycles, juniors and seniors.
\n<\/strong>
\nIn the Summit Racing EDRS\u00a0 Series, regional and international racing\u00a0combine and the series offers an attractive concept for teams and organisers\u00a0to be part of. Speedgroup work with the series\u00a0on a year round basis. The assigned\u00a0work group has a broad range of relevant skills and meetings are\u00a0operated every week, all year round. Speedgroup administer and promote the Summit Racing EDRS Series. We also operate as\u00a0 support for teams, organisers, class associations and federations on an year round basis.\u00a0The development of\u00a0the series\u00a0in between seasons\u00a0is made in communication with the parties involved. Features offered to teams include membership in the Speedgroup Drivers & Riders Club, a Contingency Partner Sponsorship Program and ferry discounts. In 2017 the Series Prize funds was\u00a0$21 000 <\/span>and in addition event prize funds are in place for each of the individual series\u00a0events.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

The series origins from the NDRS <\/em>Dragracing Series <\/em>which was acquired by Speedgroup from Svensk Dragracing in March 2011 and the Year after became the EDRS European Drag Racing Series.
