Champs on a quick visit to Borlänge

The 2019 drag racing season is very close and Team Mäkelä is preparing their gear. Tommi and Anita made a quick visit to Borlänge and ME Racing Service for updating wings and a chassis.

Rumour has it that Tommi would like to be behind the wheel in a not too distant future, so it’s good to have some hardware (chassis) in the back pocket when the feeling comes around again. Just some crew is missing at the moment.

In other news, Tommi is recovering from a foot injury, like Anita recovered from hers last winter.

“We´re getting there”, says Anita, “right now, we have the best team ever so no worries. Some young and hungry guys and some old ones with a lot of knowledge and experience and up on that a guy from Down Under. A great combination. The whole season is all planned and we are definitely going all in for defending our 2018 FIA Top Fuel Dragster championship. We’re ready for a battle and looking very much forward to 2019 season.”

Can’t wait to see these guys at the track again.
