Samu Kemppainen raced to the number one qualifying position in Super Twin Motorcycle at the final day of qualifying for the FHRA Nitro Nationals, round two of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship at Alastaro, Finland. In Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyrén stunned with his first ever 6-second run in Europe to claim the number one qualifying position. In Top Fuel Motorcycle Friday leader Jan Sturla Hegre stayed in the number one position, while in Super Street Bike Richard Stubbins was back to form and will enter eliminations as the number one qualifier. Vesa Lipponen raced to the surprising number one qualifying position in Super Twin Motorcycle at the first day of qualifying for the FHRA Nitro Nationals, round two of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship at Alastaro, Finland. In Pro Stock Motorcycle Kalle Lyrén impressed with a stunning 7.01 seconds and will enter day two as the clear leader is his category. EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship enters round two at Alastaro
Less than one week to go and the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship will have its second race of the season at Alastaro Circuit in Finland. After a great opening round at Tierp Arena, the Tierp Internationals winners will try to increase their lead in the championship, while the rest of the pack will try to catch up with the leaders to still have a fair chance in the championship after two races. Samu Kemppainen, Kalle Lyrén, Rikard Gustafsson and Henri Kolehmainen were the winners in Sweden, while the finals in Super Comp Bike and Super Gas Bike were rained out and so these categories will have their first race winners at Alastaro.
