Robert Karlsson, Samu Kemppainen and Björn Friström clinch the 2015 EDRS Pro Nordic MC titles in a historic Scandinavian Internationals

With the Scandinavian Internationals, the 2015 EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship got the final it could only have dreamed of. In Pro Stock Motorcycle it was a historic race with three riders breaking into the 6 second zone, and two of them even running a string of 6-second passes. In a great side-by-side final, Fredrik Fredlund defeated new crowned EDRS champion Robert Karlsson. In Super Twin Motorcycle Samu Kemppainen was not as dominant as earlier this season, but still the Finn won his third consecutive EDRS Pro Nordic MC race, and with it the title. In Super Street Bike, Richard Stubbins from England was in a class of his own and took the win, but with a semi-final finish, Björn Friström extended his EDRS title.  Continue reading

Fredrik Fredlund was the winner in a record setting elimination in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the Scandinavian Internationals at Tierp Arena. The Finn defeated 2015 EDRS Pro Nordic MC champion Robert Karlsson in the final. In Super Twin Motorcycle Samu Kemppainen made an already perfect season even better by winning the race and the championship. In Super Street Bike Richard Stubbins took the win, while Björn Friström won his second consecutive EDRS Pro Nordic MC title. Continue reading

Friday leaders Fredrik Fredlund, Hans Olav Olstad and Richard Stubbins stay in the number one qualifying position at Tierp Arena

With his Friday time of 6.977 seconds Fredrik Fredlund stayed in the number one qualifying position in Pro Stock Motorcycle at Tierp Arena. In the last run of the day Robert Karlsson came close with a stunning 6.98 seconds, but even his first ever 6-second run was not enough to take over the lead. Also no changes in Super Twin Motorcycle and Super Street Bike where Friday leaders Hans Olav Olstad and Richard Stubbins will also lead their respective categories into eliminations for the fourth and final round of the EDRS Pro Nordic Motorcycle Championship.  Continue reading
