The Scandinavian Internationals at Tierp Arena the coming weekend is the final race in the EDRS Nordic Pro Motorcycle Championship and will be a very tough battle in the Super Twin Bike class. With sixteen bikes entered for the event and just eight spots in the ladder the qualifying will be a show of  its own!

After two victorys in a row (Alastaro and Gardermoen) Samu Kemppainen is number one in the points race with a 94 points advantage ahead of Hans-Olav Olstad and with Per Bengtsson just one point behind. The Championship title is realisticly decided but the Runner Up position will be a battle between the two parallel twin powered bikes in the class. The Thunderstruck against the Beast!

– We have had some issues during the earlier races and the Drag Challenge at Gardermoen was the first race we could use the power at a good track under decent conditions, says Per.

– We produced good times in qualifying with a best of 6.41 seconds but went out in a disappointing first round loss.

– After a lot of hours in the workshop since Norway we seem to have found a few gremlins that´s been haunting us and with a quality track at the Tierp Arena facility we hope to lower our personel best in qualifying. Elimination day is another thing as you know but we hope to beat Hans-Olav in the final, Per says with a smile.

– On the Saturday we will have a lot of invited guests and sponsors at our pit and we will do our very best to put on a show to be remembered for some time, Per ends.

The Scandinavian Internationals will be the biggest race ever at the Tierp Arena facility with 332 competitors!
